Apple TVs lock up sometimes and need to be rebooted. There are two easy ways to do this-
Use your remote (See the image below)- Hold the Menu and TV Button down for 15 seconds then release. The Apple TV will restart.
If your remote is not charged (charge it on your iPad cart or remote charger overnight)- You can unplug your Apple TV from power. Then plug it back in. This is more complicated for users at NHS or NMS with Apple TVs high in the ceiling.
